
CVAHEC administers two local health science libraries for use by both professionals (health care providers) and consumers (patients and families).

Located within the Northwestern Medical Center, this health information center offers books, professional journals, videos and electronic resources covering all aspects of health care. Literature and specific article searches are available upon request.
The library is open 24 hours a day. A professional medical librarian staffs the library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, and on Thursdays from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

Located on the second floor of the Community Health Center of Burlington, this library offers books, videos, free pamphlets and booklets and electronic resources for both the professional health care provider and the lay consumer. Literature and specific article searches are available upon request.
This library also acts as a Culturally Competent Resource Center, which houses a collection of resources offering guidelines for culturally competent health care as well as materials written in Vietnamese, Bosnian, French and Russian.
